The 4th Plenary Meeting and 46th Working Group meeting of ISO/PC 295 Audit Data Collection was held in Hangzhou, China from 25 to 27 October 2018. Mr. Yuan Ye, Deputy Auditor General of the National Audit Office of China (CNAO), attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

Mr. Yuan pointed out that, over the past three years, to cope with the challenges brought about by non-standard data formats, as Chair of ISO/PC 295, CNAO had lead the PC to share experience with each other and obtained remarkable results. CNAO wished to work with colleagues from other countries to accelerate the development of international standards in the field of audit IT application, and deepen cooperation in this respect.

10 member countries of the ISO/PC 295 attended the meeting, including China, Canada, Romania, Thailand and the United States. A total of 56 representatives from PC members, ERP vendors, accounting firms, universities and the State Administration for Market Regulation attended the meeting.
