The 6th Meeting of the Global Audit Leadership Forum(GALF) was held in Shanghai from April 8 to 9, 2019. 41 delegates from 15 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) exchanged their views and practices in “Big Data and Audit” and “Improve Public Accountability through Environmental Auditing”, and provided solutions for the major challenges in the above areas.

Hu Zejun, Audit General of China, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. Hu pointed out that in a world of unprecedented change, all countries shall make joint efforts and address prominent issues in governance, trust, peace and development, and move toward a community of shared future for mankind.

Hu highly praised the GALF as a good platform for SAIs to discuss mutually concerned topics and emerging issues, and to better promote information sharing and cooperation among GALF members, and even the INTOSAI community.

Ying Yong, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government, delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Deputy Auditors General of CNAO, Qin Boyong and Yuan Ye, attended the meeting and chaired meeting sessions.
