The 2nd meeting of the 10th ASOSAI Research Project on the topic of “Audit to Detect Fraud and Corruption: Evaluation of the Fight against Corruption and Money Laundering” was held in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam on 24th-26th April 2013, with the administrative support by the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV). A total of 27 delegates from 13 member SAIs participated the meeting. Mr. Doan Xuan Tien, Deputy Auditor General of the SAV, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
The National Audit Office of P. R. China hosted this meeting in the capacity of the Chair. Upon active participation and adequate communication among the representatives, this meeting adopted the framework of the second part of "Evaluation on the current corruption and money-laundering", discussed the questionnaire for the third part, and arranged the contents and schedule for the following study.
The 3rd meeting of of the 10th ASOSAI Research Project will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 28th-30th August 2013.
