Dr. Josef Moser,Secretary General of INTOSAI and President of the Austrian Court of Audit, Visited China in September 2011

Upon the invitation of Mr. LIU Jiayi, Auditor General of China and First Vice-chairman of INTOSAI Governing Board, Dr. Josef Moser, Secretary General of INTOSAI and President of the Austrian Court of Audit visited China in Sep. 8-12 2011.

On Sep. 8, entrusted by Mr. LIU Jiayi, Mr. DONG Dasheng, Deputy Auditor General of the CNAO held the working session with Dr. Moser and discussed issues of mutual interest including the preparation of XXI INCOSAI which is to be held in Beijing 2013 and bilateral cooperation between SAIs of Austria and China.

As Dr. Moser had taken several posts in companies related to railway, he was very interested in taking the high-speed train from Beijing to Nanjing on which he received the interview by the CNAO.

In Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Dr. Moser was conferred the title of Honorary Professor of Nanjing Audit University, the unique academy for cultivating audit professionals in the world, and delivered a speech titled “Responsibilities, Challenges and Contributions of INTOSAI and External Government Audit Institutions to Enhance Transparency, Accountability and Good Governance” on September 9, 2011. Dr. Moser underpinned that the CNAO will host and organize the global congress of Supreme Audit Institutions in Beijing in 2013 and SAIs of the world will have the opportunity to live up to the INTOSAI motto “mutual experience benefits all”.
