7th China-India Young Auditors' Forum Held in China

The 7thChina-India Young Auditors' Forum was held in China from 10 to 20 May 2016. On May 16, LIU Jiayi, Auditor General of China, met with the participants. Ms. QIN Boyong, Deputy Auditor General, also attended the meeting.

Delegates from both SAIs reported to LIU Jiayi the outcomes of the two themes, i.e. "Quality Control in the Process of Auditing" and "Data Analytics", and the field trips they have taken to industrial parks, enterprises, museums and etc.

Mr. Kamaljit Singh Ramuwalia, Sr. Deputy Accountant General and head of the Indian delegation, extended his gratitude to LIU Jiayi and collegues from CNAO for their warm hospitality, and expressed his admiration for the Chinese culture, China's development and the achievements made by CNAO.

Delighted to see the annual exchanges between young auditors from China and India has thrived over the years, LIU Jiayi praised the vigor this mechanism has put into the capacity building of young auditors and the development of both SAIs.

The China-India Young Auditors’ Forum initiated from a proposal put forward by both auditor generals in 2010, and SAIs China and India have taken turns in hosting 7 events so far. This time, 10 young auditors were send by each SAI.
