On 21st December 2015, Dr. SUN Baohou, Deputy Auditor General of the CNAO, met with Mrs. Sirin Phankasem, the Deputy Auditor General of OAG Thailand, and her delegation.
Dr. SUN forwarded the greetings of Mr. LIU Jiayi, Chairman of the Governing Board of INTOSAI and Auditor General of the CNAO. He said that this year marked the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. The friendly relations between our two countries continued to deepen with the satisfactory achievements in the field of government auditing. The CNAO pays high attention to the bilateral exchange and cooperation between China and Thailand, and would like to share our auditing experiences with Thai colleagues with a view to the promotion of national governance respectively.
Mrs. Sirin expressed her appreciation to the assistance offered by the CNAO to the OAG of Thailand in many fields including capacity building these years. She said that OAG Thailand valued highly the outstanding achievements of the CNAO and would like to learn the successful experiences from the CNAO. Both sides also shared the views on strengthening the bilateral exchange of IT audit and training program for the auditors of OAG Thailand by the CNAO.
Thai delegation also made the study tour to the Audit Academy of the CNAO, Nanjing Audit University, and Shanghai Municipal Audit Office after their visit in Beijing.
